About Scavland
Scavland is a top-down pixel-art survival RPG set in Zalesye, a post-Soviet region broken by war and the mysterious Mist. Prepare, scavenge, survive, return and go deeper.
Current first-party evidence leads. Old builds, community signals and unverified UI data stay visibly labelled.

Is Scavland multiplayer?
No. The current build is single-player; co-op is a future Early Access goal without a confirmed date.
Is Scavland Steam Deck Verified?
Full Controller Support and handheld design intent are confirmed, but this guide has not verified a current Valve Verified rating.
What happens when you die?
Explorer mode keeps equipped gear but not every backpack item. Standard-mode recovery still needs direct testing.
Does Scavland have a map?
Yes. Zalesye uses a dynamic map that reveals information through exploration.
Is Scavland in Early Access?
Yes. It entered Steam Early Access on September 4, 2026.
